Paid before we load
Bank transfer or card while the driver is stood in front of you — normally in your account inside a minute. The car only goes on the truck once you have the money.

- How do you pay, and when?
- Instant bank transfer or card, on the spot, before your car goes on the truck — it normally lands in under a minute. We cannot pay cash and neither can anyone else: it has been illegal for scrap metal, cars included, since the Scrap Metal Dealers Act 2013, so treat any yard offering it as a warning sign.
- Do you only buy cars that are finished?
- No. We buy cars that still drive and still have a ticket, as well as cars that will not start. If it is costing you more than it is worth, tell us what it is and we will price it — a car in one piece is worth considerably more than one that has been picked over.
- It does not start and it is blocked in. Is that a problem?
- No. Tell us when you ring and we will send the right truck. Non-runners, seized brakes, no wheels, up a track — it is the Colne Valley, we have seen it.
- How soon can you collect?
- Often the same day for the villages near the yard, and normally within twenty-four hours across the HD postcodes. We will give you a real time slot, not a whole-day window.
- Do you charge for collection?
- No. Collection is free from anywhere we cover, whether the car drives onto the truck or has to be winched.
